I love a good nursery, I don’t know what it is lately but I’m obsessed with all things baby… okay I do know what it is… I have baby fever SO bad. It’s real and it’s severe my friends! I have so many girlfriends who are expecting and while we aren’t quite there yet, my obsession with pint size decor continues to grow. I have this tiny little room in my house just screaming to be filled with darling nursery essentials… ANYWAY thats neither here nor there, because there is in fact no child on the horizon… Moving right along, I thought I would share some of my favorite picks with those who are in fact expecting and are in need of some decor ideas. As a designer I could literally spend my future child’s college tuition on nursery furniture, but being as it’s a temporary space, there is no need to blow the budget. With amazing stores like Target & Etsy you can go to town on darling nursery finds and avoid eating ramen until your due date…

PINIMAGEHere in Arizona we’re having quite the Indian Summer (always really, we live in Arizona…) but it seems this year we’re missing our October completely! It’s unseasonably hot and while I’m seeing gorgeous tablescapes with festive fall colors, I can’t quite get there myself when it’s 90 plus degrees out! I have decided that bold colors are seasonless and can look gorgeous any time of year. I particularly love mixing metallics and these copper chargers  are to die for! I am seeing copper everywhere this fall and it’s seriously pretty mixed in with all the gold hues we know and love. I am a big fan of light & airy any day of the week, but lets be honest all white everything is well… all white. Punch it up this season with some good old fashioned, bold color. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Can you really go wrong with peacock napkins & sparkly geode napkin rings? The answer is no, in case you were wondering!

I’m so excited to be sharing some of our wedding photos, but first I thought I would share a little about how we got to this magical day! One lazy afternoon last June, Carl asked me to pack an overnight bag because he was taking me somewhere special. We headed out and ended up at the Four Seasons Troon in North Scottsdale, it was so beautiful I thought it was such a sweet gesture to get out town for the night. We returned to our room after an afternoon of drinking cocktails by the pool and just as I was getting dressed for dinner, there was a loud knock at the door. Upon opening the door, our sweet baby Lulu came waltzing into the room wearing a sparkly pink collar perfectly adorned with a diamond engagement ring! I fell to floor and he got down on one knee and to be honest I think I blacked out so I couldn’t tell you what he said, but I know my answer was YES!

When it came time to pick a venue for our wedding we didn’t even think twice, we only looked at the Four Seasons because it was so special to us. Our wedding took place on the perfect spring night, April 9th, 2016 and we held a gorgeous dinner on the sprawling lawn overlooking our beautiful city. Friends and family from out of town were mesmerized by Arizona’s beauty. It was the quintessential spring wedding, hosted at one of the most stunning venues in town! It was classic with a sophisticated twist, surrounded by the lush desert beauty and it was truly everything we could have hoped for!

I want to give a big thank you to all the vendors that made our special day happen!

2G9A7816PINIMAGEThis bar is one of my absolute favorite pieces in our inventory! It’s so versatile, looks amazing for a simple summer al fresco cocktail party in the backyard or it can be totally glammed up for a stunning wedding cocktail hour. The gray and gold look perfect in any setting! I even think it could be so fun used as a desert bar at a children’s birthday party… Or just a mommy mimosa station, the choice is yours!
